Integration Effort: How Long Does It Take to Set Up Reditus?

One of the most common questions on demo calls is how much developer time Reditus requires. The short answer: most teams complete the full integration in under 30 minutes, and no dedicated developer is needed for the basic setup.

What You Need to Integrate

1. Connect Your Stripe Account (5 minutes)

Reditus integrates directly with Stripe to track subscriptions, revenue, and calculate commissions automatically. The connection is done through Stripe's standard OAuth flow — you authorize Reditus to read subscription data, and that's it. No API keys to manage, no custom code.

Reditus needs read access to your Stripe subscriptions and customers to attribute revenue to the correct affiliate and calculate commissions based on your rules.

2. Add the Tracking Script (5–10 minutes)

Add a small JavaScript snippet to your marketing site and app. This script tracks affiliate link clicks, matches them to signups, and maintains attribution through the conversion funnel. It's similar to adding Google Analytics or any other tracking pixel.

The script is lightweight and doesn't impact page load performance.

3. Set Up the In-App Referral Widget (10–15 minutes)

If you want to run an in-app referral program (recommended), embed the Reditus referral widget in your product. This gives your customers a branded interface to share referral links. The widget is configurable — you control where it appears, how it looks, and what rewards are offered.

4. Configure Your Program Settings (10 minutes)

Set your commission structure (percentage, recurring vs. one-time, duration), payout threshold, cookie duration, and program terms. This is all done through the Reditus dashboard with no code required.

Do I Need a Developer?
