Updating tracking script from V1 to V2

Why Did We Update Our Tracking Script?

We’ve rolled out an update to our tracking script to improve functionality and offer more customisation options. Here’s what you can expect:

• Affiliate-Friendly Links: The new version offers cleaner, more user-friendly affiliate links, though the old ones will still work.
• Improved Reliability: The updated script increases tracking accuracy and system stability for everyone.
• Script Customization: In the near future, you’ll be able to customize the tracking script, including options like form tracking, adjusting cookie periods, and more.

How to Migrate to V2

Important: V1 and V2 tracking scripts do not work together. You need to replace the old script entirely with the new one—don’t run both simultaneously.

1. Access Your Settings Page

Head to your settings to locate the updated script. Go to Settings.

2. Replace the V1 Script with V2

Be sure to replace the V1 script everywhere it’s installed (including both your main domain and any subdomains).

3. Verify if V2 is Working

To confirm the new script is functioning properly:

1. Visit your homepage.
2. Add ?red=reditus to the URL.
3. Refresh the installation page in your settings.
4. Check if the page updates.
